CANOEISTS WELCOME: CELEBRATION OF THE SCOTS /CELTS / CLANS AND FRIENDS OR ANYBODY ELSE!!  SUNDAY 17TH AT DOUBLE DROP ON THE KLIP RIVER

 

The Vaal Scottish Society invites canoeists / Celtic or Scottish descent or friends, to join them celebrating the Scots traditions of old – bag pipes /, music – singing of ballads by those intoxicated with joy, Highland dancing, food and drink namely whiskey!

 

From 11am – lunch available from 12h00….SUNDAY 17 MARCH 2019

On the banks of the Klip River in Meyerton – at Double Drop – the home of the McGregor Clan, 26 Hoogenhout Street – or just take your boat out at DOUBLE DROP, park it on the lawn and join the celebration – Whisky tasting, Guinness for Irish St Patrick’s day – Scottish food / haggis burgers

or

Tea/coffee/Cakes – for the genteel.

 

Wear a tartan!…. or dont… as you please!!!

 

NO ENTRY FEE – Bring your drinks/lunch money in a plastic ziplock bag in your lifejacket pocket!!
