3338 Elands Memorial Canoe Race sponsored by Waterwatch.
Date : Saturday 3 February 2018
Distance : 23km (3km portage for Dusi seeding purposes)
Entry fee : R200.
The river is in excellent condition – 3km portage included for the Dusi Seeding / qualifying requirements.
We have tripped the river a number of times in December on levels between 8 and 35 cumec.
Level at the moment is low, but after rain, the level does pick up quickly, so let’s hope for rain in the week before the race.
