GAUTENG SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIPS – SUNDAY 6 MARCH – WEMMER PAN
JCC will host the Gauteng Sprint Championships race – lanes have been booked for SUNDAY 6 March 2016…. The sprints will accommodate all age groups, para-canoeists, and School leaguers (although this is NOT a school league race for points…..)
The GCU Sprint Champs will provide opportunity for the Sprint team to be selected, to represent Gauteng at the upcoming SA Sprint Championships in March!
Race info:
Race Distances – 200 m and 500 m races……Long Distance if time allows
Entry: R80 per person (R50 juniors)
Registration from 07:00-07:30
Paddlers Meeting at 07:45
First race off at 08:00
We will not be waiting for anyone at the start, if you are not at the start on time, you miss your race.
A PROGRAM OF EVENTS will be sent out shortly on GPKayak, and it will be posted on Facebook/GautengCanoeUnion, the GCU website, and on next week’s newsletter…..
