I am excited to announce that this year’s GAUTENG SINGLE SURF SKI CHAMPS
will be held at King of the Bay.
There is no “easy” ski race but this one doesn’t require a beach launch and
includes paddling in the Durban harbour.
There will be a trailer going to the race from JHB so you can book a flight
and avoid driving.
The date for the race is the 24th of April

We have arranged for Barry Lewin to do basic ski proficiency tests the day
before the race. This needs to be booked with me beforehand.
It will be a great weekend for new ski paddlers to hone in on some skills
and will give the experienced JHB ski paddlers the opportunity to pass on
some knowledge.
If you don’t have a surf ski but would like to try ski paddling then please
