MARATHON TRAINING RACES AND ALSO INCLUDING MINI MARATHONS – TRAINING TIME!!!
JCC / WEMMER PAN – 24 JANUARY
Hi All,
Please note that the first event for the 2016 Marathon Series, will be held at JCC at Wemmer Pan on Sunday the 24th January – building up to the World Cup Event and to Gauteng Marathon Champs / SA Marathon Champs!.
This will be a K1 event and will include a 6 and 10 km mini marathon event as well, to cater for the younger folk,
and for those just getting into paddling and wanting to start competing.
Marathon events in the series and the World Cup ,GCU Champs and SA Marathon
Champs are as follows,
Sun 24th Jan ,K1 @ JCC Wemmer Pan.
Sat 13th Feb ,K2 @ JCC Wemmer Pan.
Sun 6 March ,K1 @ JCC Wemmer Pan.
9-11 April @ NCC in Pietermaritzberg : Marathon World Cup.
Sat 23 and Sun 24th April .Marathon Double header at JCC, Wemmer Pan. K1 on
the Sat,K2 on the Sun.
Sat 7th and Sun 8th May : GCU Marathon Champs @ ERK ,Homestead Dam.
Sat 11th and Sun 12 June : SA Marathon Champs. Venue to be announced.

Race start time : for the 8.00 am.(24th Jan)
Cost for Sun the 24th Jan.
R50 for a senior ,R30 for Juniors.
