Please note that the third event in the Marathon series happens this coming weekend,
The 11th and 12th of April at 8 am at JCC Wemmer Pan.
Registration will be from 7 am in the JCC Clubhouse ,
with the 21 and 16 km events starting at 8.00 am.
PLEASE NOTE :
Sat the 11th is a k1 event and Sun the 12 th is a K2 event,
There will also be a schools league event on sat the 11th.
The main race will cover a distance of 21km ,with 4 portages ,and there will also be a 16 km event for juniors and the Master classes,from Masters upwards.
Entry fee is R50 for adults and R30 for juniors,
with the Mini Mararthon being R30 for the 10 km and R15 for the 6 km event.
Please note that payments will be taken on the day from 7 am. The Mini Marathon will start at 8.30 am on both days.

The focus of this ”Double Header” weekend is to facilitate training for the GCU Marathon Champs weekend On the 16th and 17th of May at ERK.
SA Champs is 3 weeks later on the 6th and 7th June at NCC ,Campsdrift.
South Africa are hosting World Marathon Champs at NCC in 2017,and this series is an attempt to get as many of the GCU paddlers Focused on marathons as a key focus for the next 2 yrs.
