This very popular eary season race is set for 9,10, and 11 August on the upper Tugela from Bergville to past Winterton.
The 3 Day race is run as 3 separate races – you can enter one, two, or all three days (Prizes for all three day finishers in same boat/combination).
SA Interschools K1 River Champs will be on Day 2 and Day 3 with National Championship medals available for U14, U16 to U18 boys and girls…
This year we are scheduling our MTB and Trail runs on that weekend as well and intend using a common race village not far from the finish of the third day of the canoe race ( 6km up the only road out) This format will be similar to the Drak Challenge in Underberg where the races are run independently but make use of a common race village and marquee for festivities and entertainment. We will have prize giving and lucky draws on the Saturday Night.
More news soon.
