FLORIDA LAKE CANOE CLUB KLIP RIVER RACE
THE LAST RIVER RACE IN GAUTENG FOR 2014
This training race before Dusi will have one portage.
Entry Fee – R80 for Seniors and R50 for Juniors
Entries as always through the GCU website, and proof of payments should be EMAILED to the Race Entry address.
Pre-Entry closing date will be Thursday 27th November.

Start – Heidelberg Bridge at 8am
(Individual starts…..first entered, first start, 15 seconds apart)
Finish – Meyerton Danie Maclean Park, (Caravan Park)
Distance – 33km includes 1 portage
K1 race – others welcome ie K2 and K3.
Directions to Start:

| Take the Heidelburg Off Ramp R550 |
| Turn left at top of off ramp |
| Turn right into Vereeniging Road |
| Turn left into Joan Avenue |
| Start is just over the river |
Directions to Finish:
| Take the R59 |
| Take the Verwoed Street off ramp |
| Turn left into Verwoed Street |
| Turn right into Viljoen Street |
| Turn left into Bekker Street and drive into Caravan Park |
