The VLC Night Race – 7 FEBRUARY!!!
just around the corner, and we looking at putting together another great event to entice you all for one final dash before Dusi.
As usual this event is pitched at providing all the local canoeists doing Dusi or not, a final opportunity sharpen racing and portaging skills before the KZN epic.
The race format, 15 Km long, consisting of five 3Km laps each with a short 50m dash portages after each lap.
Thanks to a very generous sponsorship from Ola Factory Stores and Southern Cold Storage we were also fortunate to be able to provide a New Cool T-Shirt for the first 80 entrants.
We also have a paddle voucher up from grabs from H20 Sports to some lucky draw winner J
Other things to look forward to apart form a great racing opportunity, VLC hospitality, the restaurant and bar will be open to paddlers and families.
More news to follow as we finalise other prizes and activities for the night.
