SAD NEWS ABOUT THE ITHALA CHALLENGE
Unfortunately the Ithala Challenge will not be taking place this year.
We have so far been unable to replace Bell Equipment as the main sponsor for the race, although they accommodated us with the use of their helicopter, subsequent to their retraction of the financial sponsorship. Due to this and several other factors, the Committee has resolved to put the Ithala Challenge “on ice”
At this stage the future of the race is uncertain.
Thank you for your support over the years and of course to all the loyal paddlers who took part in this event.
