MCGREGOR PADDLE SERIES – 10 JUNE – EMMARENTIA DAM
Race 1 of the McGregor Paddle Series will be held at Dabs on the 10th June at Emmarentia Dam.
Registration will take place on the day.
This series is open to all paddlers. School league paddlers this is a great opportunity and experience. Families you are welcome to also participate in this event.

DABS JUNIOR MARATHON PREPARATION AND FUNDRAISING EVENT – 16 JUNE 2017
There will be a fun race at Emmarentia Dam on 16 June 2017 from 9am – preparation for the upcoming marathon season / fitness and fundraiser for Dabulamanzi Canoe Club – details per flyer attached – Queries to ellinordryer@icloud.com;
Please note these are not a GCU School League races per calendar advertised and no points will be awarded on the log. The races are excellent training and fitness opportunity.

The final program will be sent out as soon as registrations are in.
NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED
Entry fee: R40 (Entry fees must be paid at registration on the day)
Registration starts at 8:30 in the Academy clubhouse and racing will start as soon
as all is ready.
There will be snacks, drinks and hamburgers on sale in the Academy clubhouse.
Structure:
The race will consist of 200m and 500m sprint racing only for all age groups.
We also want to encourage older athletes who are not in school anymore to take part in the ‘open’ category. The most important information….COME AND HAVE FUN!
