A special documentary has been shot on the story behind the movie “Beyond The River”, titled “Going Beyond The River”.
The official title: Going Beyond the River: The transformation of canoeing

Synopsis: Going Beyond the River tells the true story behind the upcoming feature film Beyond the River. It shows the transformation of canoeing from having very few black paddlers to now boasting numerous top competitors from development clubs.
“Going Beyond The River” as well as the trailer for the movie is to be screened extensively on SuperSport from now through until mid May, to coincide with the national launch of the movie on the 28th April 2017.
This is a superb piece of PR for our Sport and we would like as many influential and interested people to view not only the Documentary but also to watch the movie on the big screen.
The book “Confluence” written by Piers Cruickshanks is being launched this week. This is Piers and Siseko’s story of their amazing journey together.
