22km (including 2 x 2km runs)
*Race info*:
· Race start Saturday at 8am at ERK “Homestead Lake”, Benoni,
Registration from 07:00 and Race briefing at 07:45
· Race: K1 race but K2 and K3 boats are welcome
· The First seeding Race in 2015 – Test your combinations and
portaging before Dusi.
· Entry Fee R80 (Juniors R50) Late entry penalty additional R30
· Entries close Thursday 08 Jan 2015 AT 17H30 (only the first 100
pre-entries will receive a First Ascent paddling top and food
· There will be refreshments and food on sale for the seconds.
· Remember: This race is the second in the three ERK races to be
complete, to qualify for the lucky draw,
“This draw is for all those who complete the ERK Night Race 2014, the
Ekurhuleni seeding race in Jan 2015 and the Ekurhuleni Winter Challenge in
June 2015. The draw will take place after the Winter Challenge and you must
be at the prize giving to receive your prize (Draw is for a K1 first prize,
and a set of paddling kit for the second prize).”
