SA CANOE POLO SCHOOLS CHAMPS WILL BE ON 16 / 17 APRIL AT SHONGWENI DAM
Firstly congratulations to all the paddlers who have made the teams to represent Gauteng at SA Champs!

Arrangements for SA Champs:
SA champs will be held at Shongweni Dam near Durban on the 16/17 April 2016. The championships begin on Saturday at 8am and finish at approximately lunch time on Sunday. Games are played in a round-robin format, with the finals played on Sunday. There will be a bring N braai on the Saturday evening at the canoe club.
Venue:
Shongweni Dam is located in a nature reserve and accommodation is available at the dam. Camping and chalets are available. Please see below for further information.

Kit:
We are currently discussing the use of the equipment from the canoe club in KZN but at the moment there should be a set of boats and equipment available for use at the tournament. We request that all players wear a white rash vest when playing games (GCU team colors), this can be long sleeve or short sleeve.
Training at East Rand Kayak
Tuesdays: 4h30 – sunset
Saturday: 9am – midday
NB: Can each team please nominate a team manager. The main reason for this is to coordinate the arrangements for travel etc. please let me know who has been nominated for each team as soon as possible.
Team entry forms will come out within the next few days and these will be circulated amongst the team managers.
